The activity has survived the test of time for generations, from thrill searchers to leisure flyers of every age, and is the reason why flying kites never goes out of fashion. The more bold among us can even go for kite boards and carts to further augment the outside thrill factor in the next flying excursion. I recollect a company where I worked as the presidents executive aid many years back, in a large chemical organisation. Sadly the business hadn't managed to survive the recession of the late eighties due to money flow stagnation at the time. Although I had to take a lower level job, I came in with much more abilities and business operations experience than the job position needed. To paraphrase it was, stick to your admin aid functions.
If high calibre staff feel part of the company goals - at their level -- they're going to be able to contribute more in productiveness, operate better and stay longer.
The key for management is to, first, find out and recognise the talents their folks have, then put them into gear. Show them where on the company chart their contribution makes a difference. Be certain to first check the weather to guarantee there aren't any electric tempests predicted in the area and understand the basic guidelines of safety when flying. Then take the crew to the park, the beach, the baseball or football field or maybe right in the yard to realize liftoff and hours of enjoyment. This entertaining and classic pursuit has been passed on all though generations and remains one of the hottest outside activities for families to enjoy.
